I am currently a 4th year Product Design BFA at the University of Oregon.
My journey in design began with sports. Although I enjoyed the competition and the camaraderie, I quickly realized that my true passion lied in the gear rather than the sport itself.  The footwear, the equipment, the apparel, the accessories- I couldn't get seem to shake my obsession with products designed to facilitate human physical excellence.
As a 12-year-old kid hanging Patagonia, Nike, and RVCA catalog pages around my room, I knew that my passion for material goods ran far deeper than the surface-level. Products resonated with me in an emotional way: it was the story, the inspiration, the research, and the overall consideration I found so special.
I began familiarizing myself with the designers behind the brands and products I love, eventually realizing that this was the one career field that would never cease to captivate me.
Currently my personal passions lie primarily in the apparel and accessories space- my favorite products being technically designed garments that remain as beautiful as they are functional, without bringing unnecessary harm to the environment.  I enjoy being constantly plugged into different facets of design, as I believe that it increases my versatility not only as a designer but also as an overall person.  Having a wide breadth of design appreciation has cultivated a mindset that cherishes the details of a Loewe Woven Patchwork Cardigan just as much as those of an Arctery'x Beta AR Hard Shell.

My aspiration has always been to combine my passion for functional yet beautiful clothing/soft goods with a career in sustainable design.
